Hi all,
I have been searching everywhere but can't find the answer to my question.
I am aware it will depend on how the bike is being ridden, yet, looking to find an average into when a cam-chain is renewed.
My bike is a 200cc from 2012 and has over 70,000 km, she starts fine and runs fine.
Oil...
If I may; if you're not racing your bike, get the 'Lite' as this unit adjusts automatically. The 'Pro' has 10 set narrow ranges (of which setting 3 is the OE setting or no changes).
Such devices are Fuel Management tools. They do not 'fool' the ECU as the Booster Plug used to rather they'll...
I find it difficult to believe that a gearbox jumps out of gear to jump back in.
The Factory Pro ceramic shift arm and spring will prevent jumping out of gears, but as 1JZSupra says, it is better to check and change the clutch friction disks (EBC kit with 15% stronger springs).
I've installed a RW delete kit on my D390 and at first the warning LED came on (directly after installation) and now my complete dash doesn't show anymore.
Did some reading on this subject and found others having issues with the RW dongle yet no one else had their complete dash stopping.
Some...
It is tough to phantom seeing around 40,000 units being produced each year.
Also, the Duke and now Adv are equipped with the same engine.
My 2015 has over 42,000 km running the initial chain tensioner and, knock wood, without signs of ware.
Perhaps you're referring to the RC's sold in the US?
It has been a while since I replaced my OE fork inserts with MUPO adjustable ones but.
You may want to check the foot of the fork.
The inner tube is screwed into the foot (fine thread) and secured with red Locktide plus a retaining little screw (I think it is 3mm Allen).
The inner tube must be...
You can't flood an injection bike when the injector is as should be.
I'd go through the checks systematically and check for fuel (take the injector out to see if it sprays), spark (take the spark plug out to check) and if you haven't done anything air intake-wise that should be okay.
I'm not...
Strange, I have never seen anything other than Motorex being advised in a KTM Owners Manual.
I have tried several brands, even Voltronic GranTurismo-XM which worked fine but gave me a lesser smooth gear shift.
I have never used Motul but I like Motorex and Amsoil (full synthetic)
On my bike, I...
I have had similar issues with my Duke 200. Unscrewed the left handlebar indicator switch cluster. bend the two halves aware from the handlebars. Spray the contacts of the turn indicator, light switch and flash switch with electric-clean when operating the switches. Let the stuff evaporate or...
