My 390 was lost in the floods here in Houston and was taken away last Friday. I really enjoyed the little bike, having a field day on the track annoying the 600 and liter bikes. Given the bike's history for quality issues though, I am going to move on the adifferent bike, probably a new R6...
This is exciting. I would love to get rid of the Bazzaz for flashed ecu.my bike won't idle for crap...and mine is primarily a track bike now with occasional street. I would be willingto ay for this as well! Great work!
Matt.. man I just saw this thread...so sorry for your injuries! Glad you have a good lawyer, you will need some long term financial support from what I see. Hope all the recovery goes well and you get well soon!
It would definitely help in stop and go/heavy traffic where air flow is low through the radiator. I would also ad Ice coolant and the higher pressure radiator cap.
I have only 1400 or so miles on mine, bought in April of last year. First half was stock and street riding and now mostly track since October last year. I have now added a pipe, MNNTHBX airbox cover, K&N, then Bazazz fueler with ZAFM mapper module and finally replaced the Rad cap, coolant and...
I just had a ton of fun at a track day Sunday at MSR Houston..sucking up bikes with 3 times the HP in the corners only to have them squirt away and suck them up again..frustrating and gratifying all at the same time. That said, anything under 500cc has been toast! Tracking it a year now but...
Having been on the forum since I bought my bike a year and change back, I have to believe I am one of the lucky ones so far. I got all my manuals in the nice big zippered case. My bike has not missed a lick (except for my own doing..idle is still giving me fits with the Bazazz), I have been...
Nice! I only dream of getting my body position even close to that..more work to do coming up this Sunday at MSR Houston. Try and chase down EnergyHOU some more!
I also want to give Matt kudos. I have my R6 shock on now and ready to hit the track this Sunday. He communicates well and the product was first rate! He is good people and he is a Texan..:)
Yes, I added a Bazzaz when I changed out the exhaust. With the self mapping feature, made a big difference in power, especially mid-range. I was able to pull up and pass a stock bike on the front straight at TWS from 20 bike lengths back!
One thing I forgot to add, I upgraded to an aftermarket exhaust and have wrapped the headpipe near the frame with header wrap to cut down on heat. I plan now to wrap the entire pipe just to reduce the radiant heat.
