Only have 500 miles on my 2016....but it is continuously getting better!!! (Most singles are pretty tight and will not rev freely when new - my Husky SMR510 was exactly the same way.) I will say though, it is very sensitive to oil fill levels. I had slightly overfilled mine by about 6oz and once I had the level correct, the bike was a whole new machine! So make sure to triple check you oil level before going on rides.
