Never really got into liking at it. Interesting that it happened after falling over, mine happened after it fell off the paddock stands. Wonder if the float has become dislodged?
I had to get some two small bolts/nuts to attach the bracket to the underside of the rear footrest mount.
Only problems I’ve come across is watching inside leg on it and as it’s race version I had to get the dB killer. Last trackday it was measured at 102dB.
Run with a Rapidbike Evo module.
Doing some work in the garage today and noticed this random nut sitting in the bellypan. Had a look over and unable to see where it could have come from?
It’s 14mm and similar to the sprocket nuts, which are all there, as well as the nut on the right side mouth of the Powerpart rearsets.
So after a few years where there was a little bit going on then some time away with work I finally rolled my 2015 out of the garage!
Booked on a couple of trackdays at Cadwell Park in the summer sun. I also had some bits and bobs to try out like the new rear shock, clip ons and Brembo RCS...
Thanks, bike comes off road soon as I’m going away with work then through the winter I can work on it. Got a few things to do on it so it’ll be ready again in 2023. Suprised that it’ll be an 8 year old bike next year!
Question regarding the RC390 fairing panels. It says on website that the inner panels can only be used with the outer panels and not with the OE panels.
What is the reason for this, is it because of different fixing points?
Shift shaft is an easy job. Hardest part was getting clutch basket off. Once done though the shaft slides straight out. On mine it was the prongs that had worn and didn’t allow changing up.
Replaced with a new shaft, I also added the factory pro detent arm and the gray area shift shaft support...
I replaced mine last year, easy to do, as well as fitting the aftermarket detent arm (factorypro) and the shift shaft support. Combined with the quickshifter and all has been good on the shifting front!
