Hi
Thanks for your questions. You are correct in that the miles on the bike are the break-in miles. There are maybe 10-20 miles more from me riding the bike around my neighborhood on occasion when running the bike. The bike has never been raced or tracked. The tires were purchased new by me...

I did this the other day, and it's very easy. You probably left the vac line that comes from the throttle body open which would cause the bike to run poorly or not at all. That's got to be plugged. The fuel tank vent can be left open and the overflow just routed to the ground.
Nope, I misread your post. I'm 175ish sans gear. If the race weight ends up being about what the cup bike is listed at, I could probably get away with the stiffest springs WP lists. Thoughts?
Perhaps the suspension you've received came with different literature. Mine does not list recommended rates dependent on rider weight, only the optional spring rates and their associated part numbers.
I did some rounds with CMRA last year. Haven't done anything as I sold my SV650 once I committed to the little KTM. I work Saturdays, but I think I may try to make a Monday sometime soon as I need to get this thing setup.
What spring rate did you end up using? I just put the WP comp fork and shock on my bike and it's way under-sprung.
On a slight tangent, the WP forks do offer a mount for the front wheel speed sensor. After the install, I had to ditch it and along with it, the ABS, speedo, and odo.
Howdy, I wanted to have a quick intro for myself. I recently purchased my RC 390 and am in the process of [slowly] getting it ready to do some racing and track days. The bike so far has been a blast on the street, and I'm looking forward to getting it on track. It's been a revelation that it's...
