I ran there with stock gearing last year and didn't top out sixth gear on the back straight. I was also between gears at the end of the front straight. I was thinking of going down one in the front or up one in the rear.

I checked my 2019 and there is no hole for a through bolt. I looked on KTM world and they did not have the part diagram for a 2020 but you might be able to ask the dealer if the part numbers are the same for a 2019 and 2020.

If you remove the tank and move the battery holder toward the tail the connections for both will be tucked in near the steering head. I would recommend disconnecting them rather than cutting them.
