mine feels like it has a slipper also-backshifted at speed by mistake at the track -no hopping,bouncing or sliding-i have a 2016 also and i know it doesn't have one,but sure feels like it does.

had +10 and forks flush and was ok on the slower tracks-went to thunderhill,ca a very fast track and went down to +2 and forks flush,with a little more preload and bike was pretty happy.losing traction and accel in fast corners with +10.thanks to catalyst reaction suspension tuning.

i have 2 R3's and the recalls were handled very fast and i don't see any problems down the road.ran fine before the recall and they will be fine after.R3 needs a little work to be fun,needs the rear raised with a adjustable shock,front forks are decent...
i just did the same thing-R3-m4 full system,bmc filter,pcv,emission removal,block off plates, custom tune=40.44 and 20.88-RC390-stock pipe,pcv,k&n,airbox mod,custom tune=42.61 and 25.98.livemoto in livermore ca did the tuning.
i used the 320mm galfer kit,600 rbf,and vortex pads-which are the most aggressive pad i have ever used-very good on the track-thanks for the heads up on the frando m/c.
