why not just use the quick throttle from the Cup bike? It is basically an RC8 throttle assy. pn 69002010200. Found one from a quick search on-line for $76. Botls right on and works great...

4 sets of Dunlop Alpha 13s for sale. These are the spec tire for the KTM RC390 Cup series. Fronts are 110/70 x 17, rears are 150/60 x 17. None of these sets have more than 25 laps or 2-3 heat cycles on them so plenty of track days or street miles left in them.

now there's a novel solution I had not considered. that would actually work very well. just needs an adapter plate to mount a non-radial caliper of whatever center distance one might want. the braking performance can only be improved. Bravo!
to maintain warranty it is always best to let the dealer do that first service (IMHO). But it seems kind of lame that you have to pay for the dealer's learning curve.
