Hi folks, I been reading and re reading lots of thrreads. I got a 2018 with 49miles , first owner bought it in 2020 as a leftover model, rode it for a track day and kept it in their living room for a year until I picked it up. Did my best to keep it under 7500rpms riding up and down a twisty mountain ride. Changed oil and filters at 420 miles. More twisty mountain roads until 660 miles then took it to Thunderhill Raceway. The bike is awesome and I’m looking to do upgrades and learn how to wrench on it as needed. I weigh 165 without gear and so far I haven’t pushed the suspension beyond it’s limits yet. My first mod I’m looking to do is BMC air filter, PVC and a wideband O2 to smooth out my closed loop for when I’m commuting and around town. But also be ready for when I add other modifications. Next will be suspension, most likely rear shock first as the front end feels pretty good to me for now.
anyway we m really enjoying the bike and looking forward to reading learning more about the RC390

Welcome to the wonderful like of owning a rc390. I commute with mine. I'm 189 lbs and with the airbox mod and rapid bike evo it does very well. It'll hit the Rev limiter at 111 mph.

I looked into the rapid bike evo and did some reading in the Duke forum. So looks like this will do exactly what the PCV and wideband O2 will do. My guess it’s a cleaner install since I wouldn’t have to keep the old O2 sensor plugged in tucked out of the way.

So I just got my PCV, BMC filter and wideband o2. I purchased it from FB market from someone close by who bought it from Hard Racing but never installed. Of course after posting here I look up the rapid bike evo and see one on eBay for half what I paid for my set up. From the sounds of it these will all do the same thing, I think not having to leave the stock o2 sensor plugged in and having to hide it would have been nice. Anyway the Rapidbike evo on eBay is there for 15% off plus an additional 10% off with code SHOWTIME. Maybe I should make this another thread but in case any other new members are looking for a piggyback ecu

Dimsport Srl Italy is doing a 30 years celebration discount currently (the manufacturer of the Rapid Bike products)

Thanks, I’m stuck with the pvc and wideband auto tune programmed to 13.5 afr for the closed loop. Hope its not too hard to install.

Good luck Nemesis13, it will be pretty straightforward if it is anything like the PowerTRONIC's and the Rapid Bike EVO I have installed.
