If you REALLY want to sort that sloppy shifter out, try one of these, the shift shaft support he has produced-

I was skeptical, but this thing alone makes a world of difference. I have both the street bike (with the Factory Pro only) and a Cup bike (with the shift shaft support only). The Cup bike has far superior shifting. It is rock solid, no play at all. You nudge the shifter, it shifts.

Did you install the "short" shifter? It is fantastic.

For the shift shaft support

" This kit also comes with a custom short throw shifter that won't stretch like the OEM one. All items finished in a bare aluminum ."

stretch? seriously? you're putting about 5 pounds of force into that shifter with your foot. Not into a rigid rod that's fixed, either. It's connected to the shift shaft, which rotates. Once you put enough force into the shifter to start the shaft rotating, no way that rod is even flexed/ deflected, let alone stretching.
