raise or drop frontend for track?

Is the JRI shock much higher than the stock? I would be keen to try the R6 shock with more pre-load but there is no chance to adjust it with the c-spanner as there is no room to use it. I will have to remove the shock first to do it. I do love the bike but it is simply the worst turning in...

raise or drop frontend for track?

@mdaybo Did you end up dropping them 10mm and how was it? I dropped ours 7mm but to be honest it is still like wood up front and does not want to turn into any corner without effort. Once in the corner its like its on rails. I'm wanting to raise up the rear some but as this is the mrs bike...

    My Dyno story

The guys at the dyno were very impressed with the ignition timing work done on the map. They spent about 2 hours tinkering but ended up leaving it as it was. As this is a newish bike here in Oz as far as mapping goes they were very happy just to have this on their dyno and Id dare say they...

    My Dyno story

After buying CJ's Power Commander 5 for a great price along with the K&N filter and having the PCV mapped for the K&N, stock exhaust and Airbox mod I today got her up on our local dyno for a pre-addons/PCV run. ** todays run is TOTALLY stock with nothing new on the bike at all. Purely for a...

    Did you ride today?

The mrs and I did our local mountain yesterday on the RC390 and 690R Duke. Had to take it easy as its Easter and cops are soaking the roads. The mrs still scraper her pegs so she is well chuffed lol. Tomorrow we will be heading out to Mt Glorious and across the dams and will try for some...

Tell me what is wrong with the stock rear shock?

ours had 'no feeling" of bottoming out as it would just squat ti the bump stop just with my 105kgs sitting on it. it was already bottomed out before even moving so it was utterly useless.

    Shock Swap with 99-02 R6

I have to say a HUGE thanks to Matt from Formula 390 as I was after the more expensive shock and he even recommended I try the R6 first to save money. Replied to my never ending noob questions without hesitation and it was an absolute pleasure dealing with him :)

If you're serious about your riding you tend to check your pressures before every ride. It's a good habit to get into

    Shock Swap with 99-02 R6

WOW the R6 shock has made a huge difference. Cost us $300 to have the shock serviced and a new spring installed for 75kg for my wife to ride so she is super happy and it also lets me take it now for some fun rides. Not anywhere near what spring I would need for my 105kgs but at least now it...
