The db killer on my yoshi is the same, no perforations. Just a tube crammed into a collar. It does make a noticeable difference in volume for me.

Ordered a new tank from ktm-parts.com. Got an email today stating that it's back ordered until march 2019. I'm hoping that's not really the case. Anybody have suggestions as to where to get a tank? Will a 2015 or 2016 tank fit my 2017? If so, maybe I can just ebay one for now. This is the...

Ideally I would take it to the dealer to ensure KTM is made of aware of the issue, but I just don't have the time and patience. If somebody has a contact at KTM I could email this thread to, let me know. Otherwise, I'll just find whatever KTM support email I can find and let them know.

Just wanted to mention that this happened to me as well. My garage was smelling of gas the last few days, removed the bodywork and found the same issue; leaking from the ecu mount plate. 2017 with around 4k miles. Yay.

Short answer is that KTM put R&D into engineering the airbox. You can't just throw on an open filter and expect good results. It will require tuning. You may need to create several iterations of the intake system and do lots of testing. If you don't care about improving performance and just...

I just stick a piece of scrap 2x4 under the back of the tank. Works great. Fairings and tank come off in 10 minutes after you've done it a few times.

The first service includes a valve clearance check/adjustment. I would try to find out if that was done. It's important on these bikes, imo.

To clarify for anybody as confused as I was =)... It looks like the PCV does not affect closed loop fueling on the 2017+, BUT, the WBC2 does. Sorry if I led anybody astray, I misread the little message about closed loop on the hard racing page...

Are you going to replace it with something else? Ninja 400 maybe? I'm hoping we see some more fun small displacement bikes in 2019.
