I get all the attitude about “don’t lug it” etc. On the street it’s pretty easy to find yourself at 4000. Especially when the tach is yelling at you over 6500 For the first 600 miles. Go figure…
That attitude is really not interesting and you clearly didn’t read my post. The motor pulls CLEANLY...
I am 500 miles into ownership of my brand new 2022, RC 390. I’ve really been enjoying it and it is quite a fun machine but it does something weird. I’m in fifth gear between 3500 and 4000 rpm. When I open the throttle quickly it surges and bucks. It doesn’t happen in any other gear or rpm...
If you are riding on the road, I have a lovely duke 690 that might work in trade...

I was experiencing my bike popping out of 6th gear 4-5 times a trackday and thought I’d try and fix it.
Did the factory pro detent and spring kit...better shifts but still popping out[emoji2959]
I thought all was lost[emoji24]
Thank goodness before I dove into the engine I tried one last...
Does anyone have experience adding some height to their seat? Perhaps a recommendation for a company to send it off to or that makes a kit?

Love mine. No problems at all except for exhaust valve was out of spec at 600 miles. But these motors hold adjustment better after first service.

No quickshifter or pc installed?
Make sure your foot isn’t accidentally riding the shifter as it may need adjustment. Especially if you have new boots amhik

If you are the right weight for the stock suspension… Ride!
If you’re going to put in the power commander, while the bike is apart, you might as well mount up the quick shifter too...and change the battery...and get rid of the catalyst...and put on rearsets...and get a second set of...
Palmer turn 7
Getting there! I’ve been prioritizing corner speed vs getting a knee down but in that turn I was lightly starting to graze the puck. [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]

I just found out today that for my 2017 there are no flash re-maps from the factory. You are forced into an aftermarket solution with this bike

I am sorry if I bothered you.
No offense means there is nothing wrong with making money. Not being face to face is a potent contributor to assumptions.
The exhaust and mapping you provide are very small parts of your business but parts nonetheless. That isn’t a bad thing but full disclosure of...
