272.7 lbs with 2/3 of a tank of gas

272.7 lbs with 2/3 of a tank of gas -at least that is what the math said after I subtracted the weight of the board the bike was sitting on. I’m not bragging and my goal was not go to great lengths to try to lighten the bike. This was merely a labor of love of tinkering and aesthetics. This is...

I went to roll on the throttle - pin actually it’s an RC so much fun - and then there was this loud pop and engine seemed to lose compression. Now it won’t start. Betting it is a second blown head gasket. Local dealer...

    110's or 120's on front

I am considering a 120/70 Bridgestone RS10 front tire. The tire guy has indicated that he supplies many racers with 120's for 200's, 250's, 300's and RC 390's. He said that the RC 390 owners prefer this to the 110's and it should not change the bike geometry. The same applies for the Dunlop...

    Blown countershaft seal

I have a blown countershaft seal. Got very lucky. I spotted it before I took a corner with oily tires. Any other reports of blown countershaft seals? My chain was not over tightened, in fact it had started to loosen up a bit after the 600 mile service. Bike has 2000 miles on it.
