I always think of full travel as the maximum amount of compression available. So when you bike is on a stand it does not have max travel available because there is some compression due to the bikes weight. When the bike has no weight on the weight and therefor no compression on the shock it...
The last part is right but the first part looks like you got something backwards. With no weight on the suspention or at full travel you can damage things. That's why its allways better too lose then too tight.
My dealer says he's expecting four and never heard anything about a 2 bike limit in Hawaii.
He ordered 11.
Hopefully he's right cause I'd like to get mine in first shipment. Fingers crossed.
It's ok to not like a thing. Was just curious.
I've heard most people don't like abs on the track because if it's too active it makes hard braking difficult. I was just curious if that was the case.
I've never had a bike with abs so I have no idea.
So you left the components but deactivated it? That implies it's intrusive to the point of making braking worse on the street? Or are you tracking it and finding you can brake hard enough into a turn? I'm still not getting why. Sorry for being so dense.
This is answered in the first post. At least in regards to CCS and LRRS. No it gets bumped to 500. This has nothing to do with cup bikes or if a specific bike is still in production or not. A lot of ex250 out there and I imagine to keep the class alive they need to keep them on the track...
The r3 does not have more power nor does it have usd forks and like said it weighs more. The lower spec 250 and 300s are allowed more extensive mods the the r3 to make them competitive. I quess some race orginazations feel even with the alowed mods a Cbr 250 would ever be competitive with the 390.
So it's now official that my local track orginazation LRRS in New England will not be allowing the 390 run in Formula 300.
Instead they will be adding 500 class for it based on CCS's 500 Supersport class. The rc390 will compete against the EX500, GS500 and so on.
Not sure how many on of you...
