You're gonna be running lean and hot with that set up. You'll need a fuel controller and a proper map for the mods. As for ECU reset, I've seen conflicting things. 10min idle rest, 15min idle reset, RBW with no reset available. I can't help you with that unfortunately
Alright. With my bigger tires, I swapped back to a 45t sprocket and increased rev limit to 11000rpm. New max speed is 177kph with a few rpm in hand. Wouldn't go faster on flat ground with a nasty side wind. My sweater acting like a parachute couldnt have been helpful. For the record, I'm 6 foot...
I've got the powerparts seat on mine. Much better than stock. Its a little taller as well which is fine since I'm 6 foot 2 inches tall. Its also not as slanted forward so I no longer slide my junk into the tank
Still missing some orange bits but that'll come once I flush the brakes and do an oil change. Exhaust on its own was whatever. After the decat and mods, it's much better imo. At the end of the day, it's a single cylinder so it's gonna be lawnmower like
Doesn't feel like it takes much longer in each gear until you get into the top end of the speeds. In town the 43t rear feels better but its so close that. I still need to test out the new map and go for another attempt. If my bike truly cant climb about 174, I will get a 44t sprocket and see...
Prior to rev increase and map swap, I was maxing at 171kph with a 15/45 set up. I swapped to a 15/43 set up and now hit 174 but with some rpm in hand. It would not go faster though on flat ground. I swapped maps but have yet to do another top speed run
I ended up messing with and got it to the point where there is no contact at full shock extension but I can't raise the height of the bike with the way it is. I don't wanna buy another decat pipe for no reason either. High mount exhaust would fix my problem for sure
