At the moment I own both an RC390 and R3 (I won't get into it). I built and had them tuned the same way, at the same shop, by the same guy. Here's the official results after a proper tune.
KTM is up 5 horsepower and 6ft/lb torque
2015 RC390 (non cup bike):
Full Akra (with baffle in)
PCV +...
Is the 390 duke engine exactly the same / swappable with the rc 390?
Interesting that it lists a different spec for lubrication

It's finally put together. I took it out for a shakedown this weekend and it feels amazing. This bike FLIES when you put on the right parts, and I believe I've found all the right stuff.
Here's some info on all the parts, including weights for some items, and my feedback of how they feel on...
What are you guys using for rain tires? I wonder how the supercorsas would do....
*UPDATE* my pirelli guy said they're coming out with a 140 rain tire this year. He said he'll "pair it up with a 120", so I'm unsure if that means there's a 120 rain as well
What. The. Fuck.
I'm trying to remove the OEM exhaust so I can put on the Akra. The bottom forward most bolt is out, but it seems like the exhaust is stuck there.
I've got the suspension compressed, the header is completely off the midpipe / cat, and all bolts out. It'll wiggle like crazy...
It's going to be 55-60 degrees this weekend. I want to take the 390 out to the kart track to test out the new suspension.
Anyone know how the pirelli sc1 / sc2 will do at those temps?
I'm worried about shredding them

I see people buy cheap ebay parts all the time, and it makes me cringe. Over the years I've learned that there is a very good reason to buy the more expensive products. You might think, "It's a clip on, or a leaver", but even...
I have the driven rearsets. I just took the peg off to adjust the brake side, and noticed the hose from the resivour to the cylinder was worn. There's a small U shaped plastic piece on the swingarm that was rubbing it. Watch out. Here's mine after zip tying the hose away from it
edit: I'll stick something through the axle as I pull the axle bolt out and install each rearset
I'm installing the driven rearsets. I want to make SURE before I pull the swingarm bolt. You have to:
put the bike on the rear stand
put jack stands under the front of the swingarm so the...
After modifying your suspension, are you guys still dragging your exhausts?
I have an akra coming, as well as a JRI shock and fork overhaul. I'd like to know before I drag the new exhaust, so I can have someone create a custom midpipe if needed.
Are the cup guys having this problem with the...
