KTM Store :: KTM Street Powerparts :: 390 DUKE :: Chain and Sprokets :: KTM 390 REAR SPROKET ORANGE Right now everything on my bike is stock. At full throttle in 6th gear when I'm not tucked in I get 103-4ish MPH top speed. When I tuck in, I'm at 111 MPH top speed but I bounce off the rev...

So after the coolant problem and the warranty fix I had no issues until ... ~2750 The con-rod decided it didn't like the piston any more and threw it threw the top and bottom of the engine. Speaking to the tech that was working on it he was nice enough to show me the engine that they are about...

    LED blinker bulbs

These are the part numbers you want for the rear of the bike. It's the KTM (OEM) version of the blinker, but it's for the EU bikes. They come with the resistors in line so they are plug and play for the US bikes. 90514035100 - Flasher Rear L/S / Blinker HI. LI. (B-1-2-6-L) [Left Hand Side]...

Hot Hot Heat - Or How to Cool Your RC390.

Ok. Warranty repaired the cracked radiator. They changed the engine oil as well, and that added a day because they didn't have the spec that KTM calls for the RC390 to use in stock. The replaced the fan as well with the radiator as a whole unit and I have a "Mk II" fan on it. It's quieter and...

Hot Hot Heat - Or How to Cool Your RC390.

Ok, after taking apart the side of the bike it became apparently that there was a significant amount of leaking coming from the cooling system. So much so that I am concerned that it might of lunched the head on the bike. I've bought it too a KTM dealer for a warranty replacement of the affected...

Hot Hot Heat - Or How to Cool Your RC390.

I have the fan now as well. Just waiting until I have some time to do the install. Looks fairly easy, famous last words should have it done today. Just need to pickup some blue loctite. While I'm at it, instead of cutting into this fan, can't I just use a longer screw ... I should be able to...

Are GPR even trying with their underbody exhaust?

Please, impose on Chad. I want to see the numbers ... I'd also like to hear it vs the stock setup. (Just a tad bit worried about burning the girl on the back of the bike with these.)

Left my keys in the bike now it won't start.

Interesting that it rolls though an error state when it's under volted.

Nah, it's about the cooling system as a whole, so I think this fits as on topic. As MrGrody points out so eloquently. --- In other news, I got the Engine Ice today from Amazon ... Still waiting for the pesky fan replacement. *Fingers and Toes Crossed*.

Top Gear BBC Resurrected? & w/ Matt LeBlanc from "Friends"?

Anybody remember the first season of Top Gear after Jezzer took over? It was Jezzer, Hamster and some other guy who they took out back on shot after the first season, they replace him with James May. Season 23 was Season 1 of New, New Top Gear. They fired the Radio Host who was trying to hard...

Hot Hot Heat - Or How to Cool Your RC390.

For efficient radiation of heat, you need a larger surface area to disperse the heat over. I don't think the hose will be an addition that I'll be adding, but I'll consider the cap and it's a real concern should the bike over pressure it's cooling system at the weakest link the OEM cap.

Hot Hot Heat - Or How to Cool Your RC390.

So it finally happened to me, the OEM fan has failed on my bike and it sounded like a baby seal dying during the process. Now that my bike is over heating I need to replace the fan (that I could do under warrantee) with something. Everyone has said that the SPAL 5.2 Inch Puller Fan is the way to...

REALLY! I was thinking it was gonna take a month so I skipped my appointment. Might reschedule if that's the case AND if they are replacing it with a freaking fan that doesn't fail. Oh yeah! PCV will be the one that does that transformation in 6th. After ~1300km it still isn't quite as happy...

While stopped at a red light after a long stretch of high speed running on the freeway. The nose from the fan dying makes me think that a ball bearing failed. The bike runs currently and is happy as long as it's moving, but any time you need the fan (like at a stop light) the bike will climb the...

~1300 the fan failed while on a long ride. The bike over heated (moved one bar into the high coolant temp) and turned it's self off. Can I replace the fan with the Spal 5.2 Puller without voiding my warranty?

possibly a new updates for the engine in 2017

I'm really hoping that they come out with a RC690 to replace the 390 if they do decide to kill it off. It would be awesome and good timing for them in 2017 when the MotoGP bike goes onto the grid.

I love it, but hate it even more.

For me it's 100/100, I paid 100%, but got 100% of the bike I've wanted. So far, fingers crossed it's not put a foot wrong. So to everyone reading this, it's not all bad.
