I have been on this Forum since January 2015 and to be totally honest to Simpletty and Stevieboy both of you guys are the most negative posters - So maybe jjtard is incorrect with the information he was given regarding the slipper clutch !!! But you take this as an opportunity
to hammer the...
Is everyone trying to pop the plastic insert of the rivet out wards if that makes sense! Try pushing the centre part of the rivet through one notch - and presto the whole piece just comes straight out- I went trough heaps of these things while removing the fairings
at different times until I...
I use the Motorex Top Speed 4T 15 w 50 and came across the same colour as per the original post - My first lot of oil was a green colour and now it is a golden brown - seems really strange that it would be a miss label as you guys are in the States and I am in Australia -
maybe the golden brown...
Build is look great - Could you please help me regarding the tapered steering bearings - Is there a kit that you can purchase for the 390? and do the tapered housing slip straight into the frame or is it not that easy? thanks
Way back when this forum first started there were allot of complaints regarding the vibration noise in the low rev range- regarding the plastic rattles - everyone that was having this problem tracked it down to the battery cover and I think Hard Racing (forum vendor) posted a video showing how...
Thought I would post some photos of my rear set mod here rather than under the Tyga posts as there was nothing wrong with the Tyga heel guards I just wanted to make my own to suit my riding.
I will make some fine adjustments to the cad file and then have them Laser cut these were just to make...
Hey there Ryanthegreat1 - I had the aluminium cut in 6 mm at this stage - Yes water jet cutting - and you are correct plasma will leave a cleaner edge - Had them water cut for a trial run and will get another pair cut with Laser after any final adjustments required to the drawing file. like I...
Yes you are correct the right hand side will not fit between but in saying that I knew that when I was drawing them up and designed it to fasten to the outside of the aluminium rear set. Will trim out the carbon heel guard and keep it as a spacer in there.
Yea that's enough Carbon now Famous last words:) Thanks Matt it is looking exactly how I want in now - Just thought I would post the pics to encourage a few more sales your way - It is winter over here in Australia too but living in the Sunshine coast Queensland our winters are lows of 8 deg...
Ok firstly I have never had a problem with the Tyga Heel guards I just wanted a larger size and made in aluminium so I drew some up in cad and had them water cut- I have kept the top shape of the guard exactly the same for both sides - angle height etc .. and designed the fixing points to fit...
That's crazy that in the States you do not get a 24 month warranty - here in Australia we get the 24 months - and it has been honoured a few times over the last 18 months of my ownership -
Hey there aPs- Rod from the Sunshine Coast here ! Yes problem was solved with a PCV from Chad at KTM performance from this forum. I know there are some guys that had luck with the Bazz- az but the idle issue went away instantly with the PCV installed
and a pre - made map by Chad.
I have had mine since January 2015 - had a few problems initially with idle / stalling etc - but with proper fuel management installed all good now - I have now clocked 15,000 Km
I do feel for all the people that have had some major issues but vent to your dealer not on because at the end of...
bkruk is bang on this Tyga carbon is the stuff- I would post a shot of the rear of mine also but it is sporting a Yoshi pipe so might not be in good taste- but the fitment and look of the new carbon passenger seat is top notch
I have been busy with other work and still have not got around to this- I was thinking in the same lines as to using a spacer and fixing the new heel guard on the outside- makes it easy and can then make any size shape I desire ............................
There is a thread somewhere on here with another owner had the same thing - If I remember correctly he explained why the coolant got there - someone on here may remember where the thread wad posted?
