If the evaporative emissions solenoid is removed altogether, will the ECU throw an error, or will any other problems arise? I am assembling an RC390 from bought parts, and I lack the solenoid. I'd prefer not to spend $50 for a replacement if I don't have to. Thanks!

Hi, I'm looking at bike that had sat for while. Most likely battery has died. Does the ECU store error codes in non-volatile memory? Or are all codes erased when battery dies? I'm interested in any faults that this bike may have had before it was stored. Thanks!

It looks like the ECU has a plastic cover that needs to be removed prior to disconnecting it. I don't see any obvious way of removing it, and before I break something else :) Is anyone able to describe, or have a link to a walk through for disconnecting the ECU? Thanks, Mike

I took my 2017 RC390 in for the first service and requested the Akra Map, when I picked the bike up they said the flashed the ECU and wrote RM938BU1717401 or maybe RM938BU1212401 on the service order. I thought the Akra map was KM902EV1419031. Anyone know what my ECU was flashed with?
