It looks like the ECU has a plastic cover that needs to be removed prior to disconnecting it.
I don't see any obvious way of removing it, and before I break something else :)
Is anyone able to describe, or have a link to a walk through for disconnecting the ECU?
Thanks,
Mike
I'm seeing 47mm, 50mm, and 51mm anyone know which is correct?
I measured and it looks like 50, but it wouldn't be hard to be off by 1 mm.
It's for a 2017, but I don't think it matters.
Thanks,
Mike
My throttle has gotten a bit sticky.
I haven't played with a fly by wire throttle before, and the service manual doesn't seem to have much info.
Do I need to take the hole thing apart to clean and lubricate it?
Any advice?
Thanks,
mike
Anyone know if there is a quick, or shorter turn throttle for a 2017?
They have them for the pre 2017's with the cable throttle, but now that they have moved to an electronic throttle I think it would need to be different.
Thanks,
Mike
They borrowed my bike to build a power commander for the 2017.
I didn't ask them for a time line, but I'd guess there will be one available in the near future.
Mike
this is a 2017 KTM RC 390.
Under the tank there are 2, I guess you'd call them bungs, that rubber hoses get attached to.
One comes straight down, the other has a bend.
I think the one with the bend is the over flow, but I wanted to double check.
You can see the one with the bend in the photo...
