Hi everybody,
I've encountered an issue recently that I've been trying to figure out for a while and I'm running out of ideas.
I completed my first service on my 2018 RC390 about a week or so ago. Measured the valve clearances (3 out of spec: both intake, one exhaust), shimmed em to spec...
Like new RC390 booster plug. Fits all years. Comes with everything, including original box, instructions... I even saved the key chain. Only used for about 200 miles. I’m switching to a standalone ecu for my race setup so I no longer plan to use this.
$120 shipped.
Hello all i recently bougth a new to me 2017 and already wanna add /mod things...
1. Is there any cages for our bikes??? Not gonna stunt anytime soon just want protection if it drops

My 2015 KTM RC390 fuel pump is not getting power. The bike will power on and crank over but will not start. I have installed a Woodcraft keyless ignition harness recently. I have conducted the following troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures:
Bench tested the fuel pump with a 12v power...
The surging on my RC390 seemed to be getting worse so I decided to try a booster plug. It arrived with instructions that were vague (as far as I am concerned, I am very familiar with jet skis but don't have a lot of experience working on motorcycles).
#1 on the install instruction sheet says...
Bought a used rc390 with an unknown history. All signs point to a gentle life before my ownership but it's not known if the previous owner maintained it.
So far I have changed the oil and replaced the filter & screens, flushed and replaced the coolant, cleaned/lubed and adjusted the chain...
Has your spark plug boot ever fallen off during a race? Lord knows that ours has! How about have you ever pulled the spark plug out and seen that the boot has been rattling around on the plug leaving a sooty residue? Ours has! After enough rummaging around in our OEM catalog we have found that...
I went to do the safety wire on the bike tonight and I see at least the larger drain plug is hollow at the top.
So if you drill a hole though the bolt for the wire it seems to me oil would would drip out.
How are people safety wiring the drain plug?
So I adjusted my valves and changed the oil, first service stuff (WHAT A GD HASSLE)
And now the speedometer just shows zero while riding.
Did I forget to plug something back in?? Hoping I don't have to take it all apart again.
Thanks!
Installing Yosh exhaust and could use some help. I wish to do away with canister and emission tubes and disconnect FI plug. Looking at my current pictures what can I eliminate and disconnect. Thx
Hey guys, first post here, just picked up a used '15 RC last weekend and have been looking over it in the garage since I can't be out on it right now. When I went to fill up with gas the other day I noticed a bunch of water in the recess around the gas tank opening (under the gas cap) and the...
I just wanted to confirm that the black "plug" I see where my front pin clearly goes for a triple tree front stand is in fact just a plug that will pop when I push the pin in. Anyone here have experience with this? I don't want to lift front until I know for sure what this black cover is/how it...
Hi folks...thanks for having a look at the thread.
I am prepping the 2 race bikes and I have come across a bit of an issue when trying to lock-wire the Oil-bung(Sump-plug/oil-drain).
Because of the filter screen that sits behind the plug, or more precisely because of the tab that you hold it by...
Hi guys, since I have removed my mirrors, which also housed my turn signals, where can I get the OE style connectors to plug in my LED strips? I don't want to splice the original wiring and I don't want to cut the original connectors. Thanks guys.
Hello everyone. I'm looking for higer performance spark plug. Could anyone give me advice? Thanks.
Has anyone tried Bosch ZR5TPP33S? Can it fit on RC390? Personally, I prefer to use Bosch Spark Plug though it's hard to get in Taiwan.
Hope someone could give me advice, thx.
Went to drill a hole in my oil drain plug and turns out it's hollow, now it's leaking oil. Obviously I need a new drain plug but how did you guys safety wire it? This is the one on the side by the kick stand.
After talking to fast eddy on the phone about the side stand bypass this what I came up with. I took a 3.9k Ohm resistor 1/2 " size. I didnt realize they go as small as an 1/8th. Anyways I took the ends and made a "U" shape, I put dielectric grease all in the motor side plug and inserted one "U"...
