Have you guys ever watched any YouTube videos by Ryan F9? Some vidoes are really good and some videos are, well, maybe not so good but overall he is pretty entertaining and you can learn from a lot of his videos. I enjoy watching his videos and I thought you guys might get a kick out of him as well.
So this weekend I installed the Rapidbike EVO Exclusive kit for the 2015 RC390 and I have to say it makes a huge difference right off the bat. I can answer any technical questions for anyone if they have them, but the install is fairly straightforward and explained pretty well in the...
Let's cut to the chase.
Can you guys wheelie your 390? I've been trying recently and not sure I can get it up
I'm pretty much stock, do I need some power mods or just wait till the 790 Duke drops bc I'M DEFINITELY GETTING THAT
Trying to fit the front fairing and the tabs/holes on the lower section don't seem to line up with anything.
I'm pretty sure it's me not the fairing, can anyone tell from the pictures what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Mike
Hello! Just got a new 2017 RC 390 last month. I've been riding about 3 years, though the last 2 years were pretty much exclusively track on my Ninja 250. Finally had my first off at a trackday in December so seemed like a good time to upgrade! Looking forward to taking it out in February! Never...
Well I had a couple free hours today which is a rare occurrence. So I figured I would try my hand at making my own tail tidy because I am cheap and I like to tinker.
bent it up and welded the side plates to mount the blinkers. It seems plenty stiff as I used heavy gauge sheet metal.
drilled...
Hey guys,
Alex here, just picked up a used '15 RC last weekend with only 2500kms on it. First bike, still only riding around on my provisional license having recently completed a 6 day bike training course. Hoping to take my road test in the spring.
RCs are pretty rare here, haven't ever seen...
It seems that the factory failed to install the sprocket correctly, although I will admit It's not something that I ever pulled to check as it wasn't rocking or noisy. I have gone to change my chain + sprockets and noticed the shaft splines are pretty badly chewed :(
Now I'm sure I could argue...
I have had a look at the parts list and tried searching the forums but I can not find any information on rebuilding the Front Caliper with O-rings and Pistons...this seems pretty strange to me and the Caliper is not cheap enough to be a throw-away item.
Can anyone shed some light on this issue...
This is a set of the "Pazzo Style" levers discussed in a thread elsewhere.
The thread discusses "shortys;" These are standard length. The titanium color you see in the pre-installed pic is correct. They're not as silver as the bright sun pix suggest. The orange adjuster is pretty much...
Has anyone else had problems getting the CD service manual to work? I'm a Mac guy, so I'm having to run it on SWMBO's PC laptop. The manual is browser-based, but it's locked her computer up four times, trying both to autorun the app and trying to launch the English files. Suggestions...

I am talking to a manufacturer about possibly making a 415 or 428 chain/sprocket kit for the RC 390. He said that we would need to get at least 20 people to buy in to justify the work and that the 415 kit could take a few months to produce. They could possibly get a 428 kit made up sooner. I...
Anyone done it? Tips! Tricks? Advice? Results?
ive done a bunch of KTM 950s that were pretty easy to remove. This I guess will require cutting.
Thanks.
Has anyone found some other rearset options? I found these from Sato today but they're pretty expensive
SATO RACING | Rear Sets - KTM RC125 / RC390 ('15)
Eyeballed one yesterday. My dealer got three in; two spoken for, one damaged in transit that they hope to put in demo. One of the "spoken for" ones is "mine."
At least they kept referring to it that way...
If you haven't seen one in person, it's an impressive little bike. The fit and...
68 degrees, I got home a little early this afternoon, so I did what came naturally: Went for a ride! Part of what started my looking at the RC390 was a ride I took on SWMBO's Ninja 250 before cold weather hit. It needed some "exercise," so that's what I took out this afternoon. The chassis on...
There's been a lot of speculation on the RC390 and I have my hands on one in the US (I imported it for race purposes). It was supposed to be here in November, but due to some problems finding a shipper... well, it's here now.
I have yet to actually ride it as it has been snowing & cold in...
