Quick one, my KTM RC390 radiator fan has died. In South Africa we wait months for parts half the time and I am looking for an aftermarket fan. I've read a lot about SPAL being the preferred replacement but this is where my issue starts.

I'm currently installing my Samco hose kit, 8 pieces which I know the four larger pipes attatch to engine/radiator and two thin pipes go from radiator to overflow/catch bottle.
But what are the other two thin pipes for?
I wanted to put an R&G radiator guard on my 2017 RC 390; but the OEM radiator shroud needs to be removed to install it. What's the purpose of the radiator upper and lower shrouds? I was wondering if I can remove the shrouds to install the radiator guard and shed some weight.
