2016 Akrapovic de cat. How??

Hi all
I bought a used 2016 RC390 with the PowerParts Akra slip on and it's mid pipe with the cat in it (as per the pervious owner). I did the airbox mod and am thinking of installing the Powertronic ECU piggybank.
Should I remove the cat from the Akra, or does it matter little? If so, how do I do that? Do I simply swap out the mid pipe for one without a catalytic converter (Tyga) or is there another option?

Swap it out with a different mid pipe.
I did a auto tune on mine.

Thanks Jon W. Out of curiosity, what gains did you get out of removing the catalytic converter? More hp o r was it for sound and weight? .

I did several modifications at once so I don’t know what the power gains were.
Definitely sound and weight.
I was told it had to go!
