2022 RC390
Hi, I searched the forum but couldn't find an answer (point me in the right direction if I missed something).

I am trying to find a fender eliminator kit but I'm not sure if the pre 2022 kits will fit the 2022 RC. Does anyone know the answer to this?

Thanks!

Have you see the universal carbon fiber fender eliminator by 007Plate thats also a license plate flipper? Its pretty cool and looks cool too

Ok after no luck finding a fender eliminator I just made my own. Used the oem fender to mark bolts on a 2018 license plate bracket and drilled new holes. Used the oem turn signals and license plate light. Total cost about $20.

This is the R&G kit. I would not buy this again so buyer beware. The kit is well made but over priced. It did not come with signals even though it is pictured with different ones. It is a over complicated kit and honestly I'd go the tyga route in the future if I had to do it again.

Yeah, the R&G crowds the tail light a little bit. I'd be interested to see the tyga turned around, in the same orientation as yours, but I'd need to do a little more cutting and rewire my turn signals. I really don't hate where my signals and plate float with the TYGA, in comparison, though.

I received a $30 ebay fender eliminator (see attached) in the mail today. Looks real nice. I'll install soon and post up.

i mounted the $30 bracket and i chose some short $10 turn signals because their shape echoed the shape of the '22 RC390 front fairing. I was surprized how heay the stock tail unit was. I modified the bracket slightly with some cuts and some filing. I am satisfied. Thanks everyone for your info, support and kindness. :^)

Would you happen to have a link to the 2018 bracket you purchased? Many thanks in advance.

Got the same tidy tail and light set in. This is uncharted territory for me and am curious to know if you got a wire adapter kit for the lights or if you put a new male connector on them to plug into the female end on the bike. If so, would you happen to know the connector type or post a link to the adapter kit? I assume you did the same for the license plate light as well. Also, it appears the tidy tail comes in contact with the plastic under the seat/above wheel. I assume this is the cutting you were referring to in your 2nd post, is that correct? Thanks in advance.

I used some steel spacers at the attachment bolts to get the 1/4" clearance between the brake light lens and license plate light on the tale tidy. You can use some slightly oversize nuts as the spacers between. I cut off a inch or so of the license plate tabs on each side because they were too long for CA USA plates. I drilled holes in those tabs to match the pattern on the license plate. I used old fashioned electrical tape (not vinyl, bitumen) to seal the spliced connections where I cut the wires under the passenger seat for each rear light. Theses are low voltage wires, so no big deal., The old school electrical tape is remoavable, so soldering will always be an option, but I'll probably put my energy elsewhere. Good Luck! Happy Holidays!

It certainly took some massaging but I’m really happy with it. Thanks for your post, replies and help.
