Disconnecting the ECU?

It looks like the ECU has a plastic cover that needs to be removed prior to disconnecting it.
I don't see any obvious way of removing it, and before I break something else :)

Is anyone able to describe, or have a link to a walk through for disconnecting the ECU?

Thanks,
Mike

What year bike? For the 17 I know the bracket secured with 4 screws must be removed and then the ecu can be removed from the harness by a lever style connector.

The cable is fitted using a locking lever, pull the locking lever down and the connector drops out.

Sorry, it's a 2017
Would someone describe where the lever is, and do I need to remove the plastic cover first?
If so how?
I seem to break something about everytime i work on this bike, and I'd really like to avoid it this time.

I don't see a lever, or an obvious way to get the cover off.

Thanks,
Mike
