Fuel level sensor and yellow MIL light.

My RC ended up sitting for a couple years in the garage. I pulled it out this weekend and replaced the battery. Additionally, I drained the old fuel and put some new fuel in with a little bit of engine engine cleaner.

The bike starts up fine but the general warning lamp is flashing and the display reads out, "Low Fuel Level". The MIL lamp is also on with steady yellow.

The fuel level is annoying but not too concerning. My bigger concern is the MIL lamp. Would a problem with the fuel level be setting it off? Is it on because the battery was completely dead and the ECU is re-learning?

The light might be the ABS is just flashing the light pending you riding it far enough to calibrate. Does it continue to do this after you ride it a few blocks?

Fuel light might be the old fuel caked the sensor and needs to have enough of the new fuel dissolve the crud back into solution.
