Today's video is the Sunday race from the July MCRA Racing event at Putnam Park Road Course! Unfortunately, I forgot to put my cameras on the bike before this race, so this one is only from Cam's perspective.
07/02/17 - Putnam Park - Sun. Race.
After a close battle with Cameron the previous day and seeing his lap times getting faster and faster on Sunday, I knew I would have my work cut out for me. The plan was to jump out to an early lead, try to establish a gap, and maintain it. That worked well until I started catching up to the riders from the class above at the wrong spots on track, holding me up, and allowing Cam to close the gap back down. Once he had hooked back on to me, I couldn't shake him again. For the rest of the race, we passed each other, back and forth, which set up a last lap battle, yet again!
