Motorcycle gear in your work van?

IMG_20150826_165612555[1].jpgI am sure there are contractors on this forum with work vans that they can't take home for the night/weekends for some reason or another.

With summer coming up I need some advise. I live in a condo which does not allow commercial work vehicles in the parking lot.

This may be a blessing because I now plan to ride my KTM to the shop and pick up my Transit on a daily basis. The shop is dusty and I don't feel good about leaving $1500 worth of gear there.

The Transit is as clean as It gets. With that said I want to basically keep my jacket and pants safe. How do you guys keep you gear safe from your house to your jobsite, or even the track

At the track is pretty safe most of the time. Generally a bunch of like-minded individuals doing the same thing with the same basic stuff so, they kind of look out for each other. Races can have some occasional theft issues because there's more spectators.

For hauling gear around in the back of the pickup, I use a heavy duty waterproof tub with a hinged lid that I got from my big-box hardware store. Just padlock it up and cable it to the truck.
