New Posts link at top left of page

I have been using the NEW POSTS link at top left of page for some time now. I am not sure if it is just the way I use it or something but it often doesnt show any new posts available when I click on it. I can scroll down and see that there are new posts from over night that I have not seen. I am not sure if it is a glitch or something, but it sometimes shows new posts and often doesnt show new posts. Just an observation.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox and haven't had any problem of the site not showing new posts but I use a different link to view new posts on the forum. The New Posts link on the home page you use shows 'search' results for new posts.

I use this link: http://www.rc390-forum.com/forum/cmps_index.php

It shows 'Recent Threads' which shows new posts and any previous posts that have been replied to.

But even just using the New Posts link on the home page shows me new threads.

I just use the "Home" link and it always works great.

Hmmmmmmm, not sure whats happening then. I use Chrome and I get home from work and the page loads to the forums home page and then I hit new posts and I just got nothing just now. Not one new post all day is showing in new posts.
