My clutch cover was recently opened and as the mechanics didn't have a new gasket they replaced it with rtv on the gasket and the head.
while returning home i saw the low oil pressure warning and started hearing noises from the head. next day when i opened the head cover i saw a few strands of rtv in it and near the route of the oil jets that send oil to the camshafts. my left in take, exhuast and rocker arms are now busted. I'll be replacing them but need to fix the oil issue at the moment. Bike was filled with 1.7 liters of oil and was showing more than enough oil in the screen when the bike was balanced evenly straight
A friend on the Indian site told me to clean the oil pump but i don't know how and can't find any matter or video anywhere else, will blowing pressured air into the oil channels create any problem?. Any help?
btw my mechanic recently installed a new K&N oil filter is it any good?
