Pillion seat removal

Hi, have a brand new RC390 and obvs want to put on a tail tidy .. but .. I can’t get the pillion seat off as the screw holding it in just keeps spinning and won’t come out .. anyone else come across this problem?.. otherwise I’m going to have to make the lamest warranty claim ever

If it’s the first time you’ve taken it off, the tabs are likely still a tough squeeze.

With the bolt loosened, whack the very back of the seat above the taillight forward. The seat slides forward to release then pulls up.

Thanks for that, didn’t work as the bolt was not budging .. turns out the thread had been stripped which is odd as the bike has done literally 200 miles .. garage have replaced and pillion seat finally off!
