R6 Shock on a 2019 bike?

Hi All.
I have tripped over the issue that the R6 shock clashes with the Cat pipe on the later model. I should have researched more before buying!
I have the shock “in the hole” with the pipe off. And I was wondering if anyone had made it clear by using a decat pipe, or the combined decat and muffler replacement pipe?

Have you solved this problem? I want to change my shock but I'm worried about hitting the exhaust. I'm actually running the arrow de-cat pipe.

No I never did, I just put the R6 shock in the cupboard. If you do find what the solution is post it up. I do think mine would benefit from a higher quality shock, it kicks on our fen roads and needs to be a bit more compliant rather than just hard.

I own a vitpilen 401 wich is pretty much the same as a rc 390. Searching on the vitpilen forums I found this. I think this would solve your problem. I was wondering on doing the R1 shock instead of the R6 but I think that the R1 shock doesn't fit neither upside down.

Tell me if this fixes your problem and you can finally try de R6 shock
