Side stand bypass

After talking to fast eddy on the phone about the side stand bypass this what I came up with. I took a 3.9k Ohm resistor 1/2 " size. I didnt realize they go as small as an 1/8th. Anyways I took the ends and made a "U" shape, I put dielectric grease all in the motor side plug and inserted one "U" into the yellow black line part of the plug and the other into the pink wire side of the plug. I then RTVd it all in. I will tape then heat wrap the plug and zip tie it to its original ziptied spot on the frame.

With RTV will post up the finished deal tomorrow. I think a 5 pack of resistors at radio shack cost me $1.40.

1/2 watt, 1/8 watt resistor, represents maximum wattage the resistor can handle.

There is also a little magnet on the kickstand that you can mount to the sensor. I used electrical tape and it worked perfectly.

How i did mine took prob 2 min. Electrical taped it then put put heat shrink around it and ziptied it in its original spot.
