The biggest thing I would worry about is shim pop throwing one of the shims into the motor at high RPM. But it's strange you have such a huge variance between clearances. You either didn't measure correctly, or there are some issues with the components in the cylinder head.

Check the clearances again, use motor oil on the feeler gauges to help lubricate them being inserted into the head. If you keep coming up with values between 0.14mm and 2mm, then pull the head and inspect it. There's something in there that re-shimming will only delay failure on. Check for tuliping on the valves or crushing of the top of the valve stems. Also verify the valve seats on the combustion chamber for any signs of hammering.

If you need parts, check out ktmworld:

Digital tools suck if you don't keep them calibrated.

You have the bike apart anyways, a new cylinder head is only $213 and you're guaranteed to get the new version with the bridged water block to prevent head gasket failures.

You had a 0.14mm to 2mm variance between the shims. If you didn't mess up measuring, then your head is already screwed.
its 0.13mm right know..maybe i'll get a new shim at dealer
$213 in my country seem pricey..

Here, watch this video on how to check the shims first.

If you still come up with the crazy variance you were seeing before, then you need to replace more than just the shims.
thnks..i already watch this video many time..but i wonder y camshaft sprocket do not line up correctly like other motorcycle
n about shim maybe its my fault in any circumstances of measuring clearance data before dissambled..

Does the 2018 cylinder head fit on the 2015 engine?

I think the part numbers are the same, but you may want to double check on KTM's website. I do know the '18 has different part numbers for the exhaust valves and the cams. Not sure what the differences are though. I was actually planning on ordering an '18 head from them and shipping it off to Commonwealth for Chad to do work on it, in anticipation of his big bore kit. My bike is a '17 though.
