That's why I used plasti-dip, because you can just peel it off, it shouldn't effect the value. I didn't paint my stock one just in case though, but that's why I bought a second one

Thanks! I'd definitely do it, or atleast the sides. I think it looks sleeker. I was going to add some orange and white into it where the frosted areas were, but by the time I figured out the best way to do it, it was put back together and I was a pain to take off and didn't feel like it, but I...

I painted the inside of it with plasti-dip to make it black, they key is paint it on the INSIDE ONLY. It will give it that shiny tinted look

I was gonna use it to charge my sena and phone at the same time. My sena uses a cigarette plug for charger. So would it be safer to add a 15amp fuse in between the accessory lead and charger?

Okay last questions. Sorry I'm a noob to bikes but we all have to start somewhere I guess if the accessory is shielded for 10 Amps and my charger is 12 max. Should I wire a 15 fuse between the two to play it safe or is that counter productive?

So even if I wire in a fuse, it's still not safe? What type of connections are the leads? Could I simply find the connecting leads and just wire in the unit I wanna use then?

The one I bought is straight wired not a plug. So is it safe or not to hook straight to the battery that's my question
