Well if you end up separating from your bike, it will deploy, that's why it needs to be installed properly. There have been cases where they didn't deploy in a low side, but it also wasn't needed. If you end up going over in a high side, you will want the protection for sure. Good point about...

Just do it all at once--open lid airbox and and PCv. It sounds meaner without the lid and a Chad's tune makes everything come alive and work cohesively.

One more way to make it even more amazing is to add the Quick Shift to the PCV and set the shifter to GP mode. Kicking down to shift up seems weird but I can shift faster and with the Quick Shift being able to stay on the throttle while upshifting means I'm able to close the gap that the 600cc...

Oh I didn't realize that. I noticed that the OEM lower belly has a separate black grill that gets eliminated with this belly. I assume that doesn't affect anything negatively.

I love the looks of this product. I'm about to order one actually and the price is right for the Fiberglass version. Too bad shipping is so much...50% of the part. What is the main reason for switching from the OEM belly pan to this? Clearance? Looks? Both?
