I use speed as a reference point for corner entry sometimes. It's not an absolute need of course, but for 1.8 lbs, I'd keep it on board. Plus, non functional gauges just mess with my OCD.

Thanks for the reply. I want to keep the speedometer functional, so it sounds like the pump must remain for that, correct? It's only 2 lbs (per another thread) so the weight is not a huge concern. I'm more focused on the brake performance. I don't want to have to remember to disable it...
