Awesome, thanks! I'll pull the cover and add some gasket maker.

    Flywheel side oil leak

I'm away from home so don't have access to my FSM. Anyway, I've got an oil leak coming from the two rubber plugs/connectors on the flywheel side just above that chrome cap. Any ideas what that could be? I thought the flywheel side/electrics would be dry? I'd post a pic but not sure how on a...

    Shock Swap with 99-02 R6

I can confirm that the Suzuki part is a perfect fit.

    Shock Swap with 99-02 R6

So it looks like Suzuki part number 62684-40A10 is 10x17x30 I'll order one to try it out on the lower mount. For the spring I'll be using an Eibach 2.25 inner diameter 7 inch free length 650lb/in (11.6kg/m) (part number: 0700.225.0650) 170lbs in gear.

    Packing Werkes Exhaust + Dyno!

Is there a reason why no one is using stainless packing? Ive used it for my track car's muffler along with a few two stroke baffles. It quiets things down very well (can't make comparisons to the fibre stuff as I've never repacked with it) and lasts a lifetime. It's also a great deal less...

    Shock Swap with 99-02 R6

Thanks for taking the time to write all that up. Looks like I've got my work cut out for me to find something for that bike. I've heard about the CBR600 shock being an option but no idea on which generation. I've got an R6 shock on its way over to me for the RC. I'll probably toss it on just to...

    Shock Swap with 99-02 R6

Where or what did you guys search to figure out that the R6 damper/spring assembly's eye to eye, mount type and spring rate would work for our bikes? I ask because my NSR250 needs some help too. It's a lowly MC16 and won't see much beyond the occasional spirited ride so I'm looking to get it...

The New "Open" Akrapavic System Is In Stock Now!

True, probably not much to improve on there except for maybe saving a few ounces by using an exotic material like titanium.

The New "Open" Akrapavic System Is In Stock Now!

Header pipes usually mount to the engine at the exhaust port, that's just a section of a slip on exhaust. Would be cool if we had an option for a full exhaust system.

    Not a good start...

^^Couldn't have said it better myself. A large percentage of threads on this forum derail. Please excuse my role in this one. So! Back on track... The issue here seems to be with the run (kill?) switch circuit. Either operator error or issue with the bike.

I in no way threatened your right to free speech. Just saying your posts are repetitive.

    Not a good start...

Simpletty, you should trade your bike in for something else and join the appropriate forum for it. OP, good luck resolving your issue.

    390 fuel gauge reserve

Great advice! As my riding style may differ from tank to tank I also note when the warning comes on as its a smaller window and I can judge it more accurately. Been doing this for years with my car and consistently refuel with 2-3 litres left in the tank.

    About that turbo..

Stronger crank, forged rod, lower compression, stiffer valve springs, larger fuel injector, proper tune, heat issues, broken gearbox part parts, more complexity, added weight, not to mention cost. Anything is possible....

    Riders age?

^Thanks! The moped isn't mine but there's one hiding behind it that is :o . Great fun for zipping around the city and can do 80+ kph! With a tail wind. Down hill. When it's nice and chilly out. In a fully tucked position. Haha
