Picked up a CUP bike late this past season and hopefully joining a few AFM rounds and maybe WERA @ BW next season. Do you ride anything north of BW?
Love my CUP bike. 8 Track days and ZERO issues. There's a lot of hate on this forum but it seems overall people are still pretty excited and happy about their RC's. Totally anecdotal but out here in the Bay Area (CA) every single RC owner I've chatted with absolutely loves their RC.
1) Haven't noticed any chassis flex on the Cup bike, but tbh I'm not sure what that really feels like. I'm 150 and kept the forks stocks and swapped out the rear spring to an ohlins .75nm, feels dialed and planted.
2) Depending on the track I sometimes also get brake fade - cheap solutions that...
Be curious to see if you end up getting new fork springs, I'm 165lbs with gear and kept the CUP forks stock and changed out the rear to an ohlins .75nm spring. Eibach makes springs that fit too.
Recently bought a 15' CUP bike too, I believe there are minor differences that also reflect non-CUP 15 vs 16 (ie engine covers), but nothing CUP specific. Would appreciate some expert advice on this too.
