dead

so i just bought a 2018 RC390 not even two months ago and my battery is already dead, i would also like to mention that a little before my battery died the bike was shamefully dropped. ive also noticed i am not able to get into second gear, is this a normal thing if the battery is dead?

I was working to try and install a Bazzaz fuel module, now the bike is dead. The dash won't come on. Only running lights and turn signals/horn. Anyone run into this? Is there a reset if you pull the battery?
