Noob Question on shifting, where is neutral?

What I think he means, and what I personally believe as well, is that a person who does not yet know that 99.9% of all bikes have neutral between 1st and 2nd gear, might wan't to examine the motorcycle, or read a manual or something, before taking it out on the road. But have fun by all means...

My bike needs the fueling mapped. Power commander or Powertronic(or something?)?

It has been reasonable to be honest. But I'm quite sure it can get better! Have been seeing a worrying amount of blueish smoke(oil) when starting cold since the first maintenance... And they told me they "topped off" the coolant. Being a closed system, I'm already worried that my headgasket is...

My bike needs the fueling mapped. Power commander or Powertronic(or something?)?

I live in Belgium. We have the choice between 98 en 95 octane fuel. I've always used 98 octane because I used to drive tuned cars, and using it gave the mappers a little more breathing room to avoid detonation... Riding the bike today, I can't say it goes badly, as the part throttle behavior...

My bike needs the fueling mapped. Power commander or Powertronic(or something?)?

Hey guys, So my RC had it's first service done. I had already fitted an Arrow exhaust and asked my dealer to fit the K&N filter and add a better mapping. When buying the bike they told me they even had a rolling road(dyno) so could provide tuning of the bike as well. When I asked him if he...

    Riders age?

I am 30 years old(for 24 more days), and have been riding all my life. Nsr125, Husqvarna 610te supermotard, gsxr-750 1990, tl1000-r, gsxr-1000 k3 and a yamaha dragstar 650 bobber have all come and gone. Now I have the rc390, a suzuki gs750 which I can't seem to get registered, and a yamaha...

    Tires or tyres.

I used to ride a tl1000r and I too replaced the rear with a thinner one for better agility. I do have some chicken strips on the rc stock tires but that's just cause I'm not a trackday rider so lack skill to do knee downs in every corner...

    Windscreen vs levers?

My stock levers don't touch by several mm's!

    Engine cutout

Haven't had the problem with the rc, but way back I used to ride a Husqvarna 610te supermotard and that did it often. But I was willing to accept that with that bike, as it did'nt have a sidestand(just lean it against a pole or wall), did'nt have proper lighting, no indicators, no ignition or...

How long do you warm up you bike before riding?

I already tightened several bolts on my bike at a few hundred miles. Locktite? What is that sir? Also kind of sad to see the paint on my wheels is already gone at the edge of the rim while the bike hasn't even seen rain or abuse. Also looking closely, there's even small spots where the paint...

    Wind screens

There's also one from puig that doesn't wrap around. Was set on ordering it in bright orange, but couldn't easily get a hold of it! So I ordered the ktm one with light cutout. I'm already semi-sorry that I didn't take the racing one and made something out of that one.

How long do you warm up you bike before riding?

Same for me, except for the stalling? Riding too easy and especially idling are not great idea's in my humble opinion. Idling a bike doesn't warm the oil fast enough, making lubrication less efficient. I don't bang the rev limiter when it's cold, but I'll just ride it slightly easy untill I...

    Fuel Exhaust

Yep, that's the one. I noticed that the gianelli exhaust and the arrow exhausts they sold, all had the same pictures with a different muffler photoshopped in them... All had the nicely welded pipes that will not be to be found on our actual exhausts we will receive. I just hope it has the o2...

    Fuel Exhaust

I just ordered an arrow gp exhaust but I'm pretty sure it's a fake. Ebay low price stuff... I wanted to get the arrow gp2 titanium one but it was around 600 euros, and as long as it's much lighter weight and better sounding than stock, I'll be happy!

Anyone seen this fender set yet?

Hey guys, I saw this set in my quest for finding weight saving stuff for the rc. I'm wondering if they would actually be any lighter than the plastic originals? Hate that they never make this stuff dry, without the shiny resin and coatings... Tyga Performance - Carbon Set, KTM RC125, RC200...

New to the ktm family from Belgium!

I knew what I was buying so I'm sure as hell not complaining! Just bought a house and a new bike, so got to keep my spending to a limit, but I'll get there. Never been able to ride or drive a vehicle bone stock, although I really admire people that do. Oh, and mr-fabricator: "Happy wife, happy...
