Actually I'm just looking to go for a more "streefighter" style look, ditch all the fairings except the bottom one and possibly but probably not change the handlebars. I know thats more duke style, but its always fun tinkering with what you have
I was wondering if it was at all possible to change the front of the RC to more of a street fighter type setup up front with a big round headlight, and maybe change the tach and speedo to smaller streamlined units, is that possible at all with the RC's front cluster setup?
Im in Canada, I thought the warranty was 2 years, but I might be wrong. There's probably a thread on here about whats required for the 1st service, I will probably take that route with the service manual, still the whole situation pisses me off though. How can you be a dealership that sells a...
So my bike is at about 900km as of now so I decided I would put in a service appointment for the fist service. I got an email back from the dealership with a work order and quote for the service and it totalled about $700. I kind of know a guy at the shop so the actual quote he gave me was about...
I think I shift with a pretty light touch, i never slam the lever or anything, and have had maybe 2 times where I had a false shift where the gear indicator was blank, as in no gear selected. That was going from 1-2 I think. Other then that my bike seems to shift up and down into any gear pretty...
Its a fun bike. Its quick for sure, not FAST. It has decent passing power, but its a bike that if you want to be fast you have to drive flat out, full revs. Its fun in the twisties, you can give it full throttle on the way out of the turns and not have the back end step out and any angle as far...
Ok, just wondering. You should put at hybrid sticker instead so you can park in those spaces. At least WE all small displacement owners know we're doing the right thing.
From what i've read so far the RC with CUP parts is faster on the track the a decked out 300 Ninja, but I guess i'm biased. I used to own a Ninja 750, which was their Superbike at the time. Other then the stupid amount of power (which got me into trouble with the police way to many times, but...
i actually dont mind the size and like the brightness I just like the way LED's have the instant on and off like the tailight. Looks odd when the turn signals take a little bit to turn off when the brake light in instantaneous.
Thought mine ran to hot, but seems it runs exactly the same as all of yours. Fans kick in lots usually when stopping at a light, but as some of you have mentioned even of colder days it kicks in alot.
While i haven't yet, I guess I could just pull out the bulbs and find a led replacement online, but I seem to have a nack of finding all the most cheaply made stuff so was wondering if anyone was luckier then me.
I have always felt for the "break in period" just don't drive it too hard and everything will be fine. Don't baby it, don't constantly drive it like its stollen, and its fine. This whole NEVER rev it higher then this and NEVER take it faster then this is all bullshit. Drive it like you own it.
