2015 purchased new and now has 18,812 miles on the clock. Based on the advice of the mechanic (who I trust) from my local shop he said don't waste my money on the first service so I did not have the valves checked until 10,000 miles. They were still in spec... The stock rear shock is nothing...

The mechanic at the shop where I purchased my 390 said to save my money on the first valve check and wait until the second one due to the fact they haven't had to adjust any valves at the first check. I did and the valves were still in speck at ten thousand miles when they were checked...

Oh yeah now I see, guess I should have paid more attention...

Do yourself a favor and take every nut and bolt out and loctite them... Valve adjustment... The mechanic at the shop I purchased my 390 at said based on their experience at the shop I didn't need to have them checked until 7,500 miles... I actually waited until 10,000 miles and they were in...

According to the Dunlop rep I spoke with the Q3+ will knock two seconds per lap off of your time... I put them on my KTM 1290 Super Duke R and love them, I haven't put them on my 390 yet but looking forward to...

Amsoil for me and it hasn't used a drop in 19K miles...

I have this shock on my 390 and love it... I could never go back to the POS stock shock...
