The later 3.5bar pump is not interchangeable as it is circular on the mounting flange
this is the 2.7bar pump is has a oval mounting flange, the earlier 390 duke gen1 (plastic tank) and RC390 have the oval pump that is 3.5bar.
looking at the spy shots you might get you wish
new wheels are on the bikes, look lighter, but who knows
adjustable suspension is now on the HSQ and ADV390, so would say the RC update would get it too

Some additional notes
All new bikes from 23rd May 2017 have the new head and cylinder. Duke and RC plus HSQ401
One thing that should be notes for the racers out there is the duct from the airbox to the throttle body is much shorter on the rc390r.

Speaking with some guys that work at KTM, they told me that moving the cooler forward just at the bottom, by one additional rubber mounting block, this flattens the angle of the radiator and increases flow.
this and the less restrictive SPAL fan will help alot.
True but the European bike for 2016 come with the slipper clutch now fitted, so does it still make sense to change.
I understand that the ramp system is not the best on the oem ktm, but it good enough for most track use.
So the added advantage would be more slip control on the clutch and...

saying i am from Ireland but living and working in the land of KTM (Austria)
