restart

I’m not sure if this has been discussed or not but can someone tell me why I cannot restart my 2016 RC390 if it stalls while in gear? Pullin the clutch in any gear and it will not start? I end up pulling over to asafe location and putting the bike in neutral before I can restart. Not surewhy...
