2017 RC 390 Engine Roughness

Hey Guys, Facing an issue on my week old 2017 RC 390. After about 200 kms on the odo the bike suddenly started feeling very rough below 4000 rpm. Initially was very smooth (relatively speaking) but all of sudden became very rough. A lot of vibes and jerkiness from the engine. Feels better post 4K rpm. Anyone faced this? Going to get the oil changed soon. Hopefully the service center should be able to sort it out.

Pretty typical for the RC to be jerky under 4k. You can see if the dealer can flash the Akrapovic map for you. Other option would be a piggyback ecu (Power Commander, PowerTRONIC, etc.)

The RC runs lean at low RPMs, which is what causes the jerkiness.

Also check chain and other drivetrain fasteners...just cuz[emoji56]

Thank guys for the suggestions.
Chain is cleaned and lubed, stack also seems fine.
Running lean makes sense, but was wondering why it changed character suddenly at around 200 kms on the odo.
