C1015 OBD 2 code

OBD 2 checked my bike to see this code. on googling this some sources said it is the front speed sensor error, removed both speed sensors, cleaned it put it back but the ABS light still switches on after hard braking. what could be the issue now and what do i do?

It could be that the ABS unit is failing and should be replaced. Fortunately, since some people remove their ABS units, you probably can buy one pretty cheap either here or on eBay. Be aware that it does take a fair amount of work to replace the unit.

maybe @ReidMcT, but the interesting part is that as the bike starts to roll, the ABS lamp turns off and on braking hard a couple of times, the ABS lamp comes up!

... which is consistent with a pump failure, no?

not sure @ReidMcT have never seen a bike with a failed ABS pump.
