Cooling system-Advice needed

When my bikes engine is cold and i open the radiator cap coolant flows from the reservoir tank into the radiator.
Is this normal?

Yes, because the tank is higher than the radiator. Before removing the radiator cap I usually remember to apply a fluid line clamp like these: https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-22850-...9HHRP3XHTDG&psc=1&refRID=A801H3KD49HHRP3XHTDG
